Location: Birmingham
Pay: £14.00 per hour (with review after 3 months)
Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am
Start: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join our clients well-established manufacturing business.

You’ll be working within a busy production environment, operating Bodor laser cutting machines and CNC routing equipment to produce high-quality components used across a range of precision manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Bodor laser cutting machines safely and efficiently

• Operate CNC routing machinery to manufacture components to specification

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job sheets

• Select correct tooling, materials and machine settings

• Load and make minor adjustments to CNC programs where required

• Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment

• Complete production paperwork accurately

• Carry out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

• Support wider production team when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (Bodor or similar)

• Experience with CNC routers

• Ability to read engineering drawings confidently

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy / IT skills

• Good mechanical understanding and problem-solving ability
